Background:

The Singapore Management University (SMU) is internationally recognisedfor its world-classresearch and distinguished teaching. Established in2000, SMU's mission is to generate leading-edgeresearch with global impact and produce broad-based, creative andentrepreneurial leaders for the knowledge-based economy. Business and theSchool of Accounting are accredited by the Association of InternationalBusiness Schools (AACSB International) and the European Quality DevelopmentAccreditation System (EQUIS).

 

Program Overview:

    1.Admission to the USTC Bachelor's Degree Programme for 3 years.

    2.In the 4th year, students must make an online application for the SMU Programme, submit the required documents via SMU’s onlineapplication portal, Including:

        GPA 3.0/4.0；

        GMAT600;    

        IELTS 6.5/TOEFL 90； 

        an admission interview；

        Resume/CV；

        Personal Statement；

        Recommendation Letter；

        Transcripts from priorstudies;

        Any other materials deemednecessary by either party.   

    3.Students will commence theMaster of Science in Applied Finance or Master of Science in QuantitativeFinance or Master of Science in Management.Students will be awarded the SMU Programme degree upon fulfilment of graduation requirements imposed by SMU.

    4. USTC students admitted to the SMU Programme are required to complete the USTC Programme prior tothe completion of the SMU Programme.

Tuition and Fees:

Students from USTC will payrequired tuition fees to SMU when they study at SMU. Travel cost, room andboard, and other personal costs will be borne by the student.
If eligible, studentsstudying at SMU as part of this Programme may have theopportunity to obtain scholarships. More details are provided on the SMU websites.
